PRACTICE DESCRIPTION
Dr. Gonzalez joined Westwood Dermatology Group in 2009. She practices general dermatology and treats patients of all ages. Her clinical focus includes:
- Cosmetic & Laser Surgery
- Botox Injections
- Filler Injections
- Laser Hair Removal- Light Sheer Diode Laser
- Sclerotherapy
- Dermatologic Surgery
- General Dermatology
- Total body scans to detect cancerous and
precancerous lesions
- Phototherapy (narrow band UVB)
- Acne, Eczema, Warts
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Dr. Gonzalez is a fellow of The American Academy of Dermatology and is a member of The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and The Skin Cancer Foundation. She has authored several medical journal articles on dermatological disease.
EDUCATION
After graduating with distinction from The University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her B.A. degree in Biology and Psychology, Dr. Gonzalez received her M.D. degree from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School. She graduated at the top of her class and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Medical Center. She returned to The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School to complete her residency in Dermatology and was named chief resident during her final year. Dr. Gonzalez is Board Certified in Dermatology.
